Pastor Elder Bobby Wright
Was born in Mountainview, Georgia in 1951. He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William (Estell) Wright.
As a child, he grew up in the Church of God in Christ under the pastorate of Bishop John Cooper, who was called the Jesus Man. Bobby heard holiness preaching and was exposed to the word of God. He participated in many activities at the church and enjoyed learning about God. He also listened to Apostle Johnnie Washington of Jamaica, New York, one of his mentors.
As time progressed, he began to wander away from church and all ht principles that he learned about living holy life. He went into the military and returned home to continue a life of pleasure. In 1980, he returned to church and began to attend faithfully. He was a part of the Men's group and became an usher at Valleyview COGIC.
In 1982, he was saved at Valleyview COGIC and shortly after received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. After salvation, God called him to become a minister and he began to evangelize the streets of Decatur and on the radio.
Upon leaving Valleyview, he joined Back To The Bible Miracle Revival Fellowship Church under the Pastorate of Apostle Raymond Moss. While at Back To The Bible, he was ordained by Bishop Moss and assigned to Pastor Back To The Bible in Buford. He has pastored at Buford for 22 years and is responsible for the outreach ministry that travels by shortwave radio to Africa and surrounding countries. Additionally, the outreach ministry travels to Red Lion, PA., Florida, and Haiti.
Many letters have been received that express appreciation for the gospel that Pastor Wright preaches. Many souls have been saved, delivered and set free because of the down to earth message that he brings. He brings a message of hope, a message of deliverance, a message of overwhelming joy. The message that he preaches is based upon the word of God and brings hope to all mankind.
He was married to Mildred Hodge Wright for 39 years and they are the parents of four children who are all married: Channing, Meagan, Bryce, and Joshua. He is a grandfather and the father of LaBron, Derrick, and Tina Wright.
